"Our purpose is to offer readers tips to help them create a productive living and working style. We emphasize methods to be more effective in the use of your precious time. Time is our greatest asset and it should not be wasted.
Setting priorities is a skill you can learn. Achieving goals in several areas of your life: professional, financial, physical and spiritual while making a contribution to your community requires care in choosing your daily activities to give the greatest yield on your time invested (PAY = Priorities by Yield)."
We should be introducing our blog in a way that addresses potential readers' needs for useful information on a chosen topic and tells of the writer's credentials to provide that kind of information. Tony Robbins establishes his credentials by discussing his financial success and his success in many other areas of his lie. He has read extensively in the area of personal motivation and self-help ( reading over 700 books on the subject) and he has tried to integrate his knowledge into his Seminars. "To read means to borrow; to create out of one's reading is paying off one's debts." said Charles Lillard.
Robbins calls himself "the Why-Guy" in the tape series called "Personal Power - How to Create a Compelling Future" referring to his focus on establishing 'why' people do things like for freedom, prestige, and create self-worth. He gives techniques for creating urgency through the pressure of having clear goals written in positive terms. Things like, "I want more money to allow me to afford a great car which will give me the freedom to take day trips out of the city and into the countryside. The why of the money you feel you need is to give you freedom. If you set goals stating positively why you want more money, the goals create a picture of what you want and reveals to "Gap" between your desired future and your current situation and this gap creates pressure on you to get working on your financial goals. Or whatever other goals you have written down in positive terms.
Goals need to be specific to areas in your life you want to improve, such as, losing 30 pounds to reduce your blood pressure protecting and strengthening your heart.
