He called yesterday, a neighbor knocked at the door and the girl downstairs came up to take me and my dog for one of our daily dog walks.  Too much all at once for my tiny brain.  I was heating some food for the dog and wentout without turning the pot off.  We heard the fire alarm from a block away!!!  The landlord simply opened my door and turned off the heat and shut off the alarm.  Sounds good?

No.  Two fire trucks and two fire chiefs show up in thier respective bright red cars.  It was a real schmozzle.
